One of our notable projects was the customization of a transparent mannequin for Customer A. We initially focused on developing educational mannequins but quickly adapted to Client A's specific customization needs. Client A shared his idea on the product, emphasizing the need for threads and injection practice and provided CDR design for us. After we received this design, and we provide some suggestion and revise for him and it is approved.
Based one the needs of our client,we advise to use TPR material because it is good for both injection training and threads lift practice with a lower cost.
After finalizing the design, We proceeded with mold creation, a critical phase in transitioning from prototype to mass production.
Sample Approval: The prototype was refined based on Client A's feedback, and the final sample was approved for mass production.
One of the primary challenges in the manufacturing process is ensuring the precision of mold dimensions and weight, thereby minimizing shrinkage. The products are prone to shrinkage, making it crucial to calculate the shrinkage rate in advance to reduce deviations in size and weight. Due to the transparent color of the product, it is easy to have black spots or be contaminated by other substances. Once soiled, it is difficult to clean due to the material. Therefore, the scrap rate is also high. Our factory production environment is clean and tidy, the mold is clean, and the raw materials are all 100% new. The products produced are packaged in a professional way, which can keep the products clean and reduce the scrap rate.
Due to the special nature of the product, this product is not simply poured into the mold at one time as it will case shrinkage on the bottom.
When we are doing TPR liquid pouring into the mold,it's no ok to pour it at one time as it will case shrinkage on the bottom.
After production team discussion, we decide to do at least two times pouring TPR liquid layer by layer. Before pouring the second layer, the first layer is dry.
Besides,our speed of pouring have to be controlled. If it is too fast, they will have many bubbles which is not good.
