Generally, the eye doctor measures your PD during an eye test or when you place an order for prescription eyeglasses.

Surely you can while you get the right pupillary distance(PD) ruler.

What should you do if you don't have PD?

1. Visit the eyeglasses store to measure your PD.

Follow the steps to get PD measured by yourself with a PD ruler:

Step 1: Place the PD ruler on the bridge of your nose. A magnifying glass may be needed to see the numbers more clearly.

Step 2: Close your right eye and line the "0" with the pupil's center of the left eye.

Step 3: Do not move your head or the ruler, keep stable and close your left eye and open your right eye.

Step 4: The ruler should line up with the pupil's center of the right eye, and read it. This number is your PD.

Repeat the above entire process three times and try to keep consistent when you do these. Finally, get the accurate Pupillary Distance. When you want to order glasses online, just enter the PD you got when you measured with a PD ruler.
